Stop 5G on Earth and in Space

Stop 5G Appeal
LIFESTYLE VERSUS PLANET EARTH
My call for people to deliver the 5G Space Appeal to the world’s governments has so far elicited 85 volunteers from 25 countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Latvia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States.
The Appeal will soon have 150,000 signatures. If it is delivered in hard copy, the signatures will take up more than 4,000 pages. The list of scientists alone will take up 100 pages. It will be difficult to ignore. It will force government officials, for the first time in over 120 years, to pay attention to what radio waves are doing to our world. The goal is not simply to hand the Appeal over, but to first secure a date and time for an official meeting, at which all stakeholders will sit down together at the same table and listen to each other.
A terrible thing happened in 1996 and 1997: Suddenly, one hundred million human beings began to hold microwave-radiating devices against their brains. Suddenly radio towers began to sprout like mushrooms across the landscapes of half the world, in cities, countrysides, forests, parks, nature preserves. Soon every human being became a source of radiation. Today there are more cell phones than people on this Earth. Today, 40 per cent of the people in my country have had cancer or will have cancer. More than half of all adults have abnormal blood sugar. Worldwide, half a billion people have diabetes. Young people, in their twenties and thirties, even teenagers, are having strokes and heart attacks. There is a connection. And people do not want to know. After all these years, they still do not want to know. And we are out of time.
Below are personal stories I have received during the past two weeks, describing the damage being done to our planet by radio waves, not just by 5G, which is only a label, but from the intensification of radiation from all sources that is now occurring.
THE BIRDS AND THE BEES: NETHERLANDS
Mercedes Rodriguez describes the devastation in the Netherlands:
“I live in Holland, in a medium-sized town near a canal. Until recently the canal was “infested” with noisy ducks and other water birds, and in our adjacent gardens there was a mass of joyful little birds. I remember during hard winter times feeling obliged to boil rice and pasta for the poor things and to provide them with bread, fat balls and grains.
There is an apartment building 10 stories high dominating the area which is mostly composed of small individual family homes. On top of the high building there is a telephone antenna mast sender sending its radiation unhindered to the canal and gardens and all over the place which started in the times of the 2G and since then has added every new phone generation including, lately, the much more powerful 4G+. Just a few months ago, for the first time, I noticed the antenna mast paying attention to its effects and I suddenly associated the remarkable silence in the area with the lack of bird life.
There are very few waterbirds now, far less than some years ago, even in places where they used to proliferate because passing people threw them bread. And you nearly do not find any more the robins, sparrows, starlings, finches, tits and the many little birds that used to come to our gardens.
As for insects we used to be molested by the gangs of mosquitoes, nicely reproducing in the stagnant waters of the canal. But now they have nearly disappeared, and that despite the fact that the temperatures this summer have been offensively high and long-lasting, a record in our history.
It would appear that telephony antennas with their irradiation could be considered as the most efficient biocide that one could ever create on purpose. I wonder what other disasters these devices and the rest of “big wireless” are doing in the exposed western world. That they want to export their mess to the entire planet is appalling and deserves the strongest opposition.
I very much hope that all the actions attempted by people with intelligence and common sense achieve some encouraging result. Please keep on trying, you are not alone, we are plenty around the world with the same inquietudes.”
THE BIRDS AND THE BEES: JAPAN
Patricia Ormsby, in Japan, describes the “catastrophic changes we have been witnessing in bird and insect life in our field, around which seven of TEPCO’s smart meters were installed some time between late fall 2018 and May 2019.
“I felt sporadically ill in the greenhouse, but it wasn’t until my husband told me no bees were coming to the watermelon plants he put out in May that I checked and found the smart meters from all the adjacent houses were irradiating our field and greenhouse from close distances. In short all birds except barn swallows have abandoned our field.
The urban area below us appears to be nearly completely abandoned by bird life, including barn swallows. I started hearing remarks about diminishing bird numbers from elderly friends in February 2018. A temple that had been abuzz each August with ear-splitting cicada calls was completely silent this year.
All flying creatures in the open areas in and around our field have been impacted. At the end of March, a diverse group of waterfowl left a spring-fed pond about 200 meters north of our field for no apparent reason. It was too early for them to begin migration.
In late April to early May the black eared kites (Milvus migrans) residing in our area all left. We had about ten resident kites who perched every day on the power poles, particularly near the duck pond. Today I went for a look, and saw a metal cabinet with windows containing smart meters on TEPCO’s hydro dam there. These seem to be popping up on all sorts of infrastructure. At about the same time, all of the carrion crows (Corvus corone) left too. Occasionally I can hear the call of one distinctive former resident in the distance.
We always had a family of about five starlings (Spodiospar cineraceous) nesting near our field. They are gone now, but in late spring, a mob of starlings arrived from somewhere else, probably the urban area below us, and caused havoc for the farmers during planting time. They would raid our field briefly but not stick around.

The shrikes (Lanius bucephalus) are missing, the great tits (Parus major) are gone, the white wagtails (Motacilla alba) stuck around until July, and then they left too. I saw a few rufous turtle doves (Streptopelia orientalis) occasionally roosting on the power lines this summer, but none recently. There are a few tree sparrows (Passer montanus), but they rarely visit our field. I noticed a few barn swallows (Hirundo rustica) today, but they are about to migrate for the winter. Our once lively field is now silent.

This was the first year that our flowering watermelon plants had no pollinators. One year before, we had large numbers of bees. The European honeybees were not numerous, because beekeepers in our area all gave up about a decade ago, but there were several species of bumblebee, including a small one that was quite numerous, and several kinds of small native honeybees. Other farmers were also affected by this, not just our particularly irradiated field. My blueberries and watermelons have had roughly 20% of last year’s yield. In areas away from the smart meters, I see one species of native honeybees working clover flowers.
Every year prior to now, the blueberry patch became hazardous in late August from multitudes of hornets (I counted at least four species last summer). This year, we might have one yellow hornet per day frequenting that patch (none in recent days). Shinobu put out rotting watermelons in several places. One, in the open about ten meters from two of the smart meters, attracted no insects at all, except one or two very small flies. One, shielded from the smart meters by a concrete wall, attracted plenty of hornets, huge rhinoceros beetles and other insects.
Cabbage butterflies used to be a major pest, but this year they were hard to find. A catnip bush about 15 meters away from the nearest smart meter with densely foliated hydrangea bushes between attracted a mob of cabbage butterflies. Near the irradiated greenhouse, I left some broccoli plants in the open, which would have normally been a feast for them and their offspring, but saw no signs of them there. Really, TEPCO ought to consider patenting their smart meters as a replacement for pesticides!
One small wasp species managed to build a nest in the greenhouse on the far side from the nearest smart meter (I estimate 15 meters away), and when I stumbled on it a week ago, it had about 30 worker wasps. The next day the nest had been abandoned, and I examined it and found no living larvae. The first 30 or so had hatched and no others had survived.

We farm organically. Some of the neighbors use glyphosate, but that is coming under criticism, and beginning to decrease. My impression is pesticide use in our area is generally decreasing. I’ve been a bird watcher here for decades.”

Are we witnessing a Pharmaceutical coup d’état of our country?

Sharing the recent GreenMedInfo Newsletter. Enjoy ~

With the sudden passing of SB 276 in California, it may be time we start talking about a pharmaceutical coup d’état of this country.

California, alone, is the world’s 5th largest economy — a perfect target for an illegal, unconstitutional seizure of power by multinational corporations who exercise a near limitless financial influence on our political process. And your state may be next.

recent report in the Sacbee reveals that California lawmakers received millions of dollars from the pharmaceutical industry, with Senator Pan (sponsor of SB 276) top on the list:

  • Sen. Richard Pan* D-Sacramento $95,150
  • Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins D-San Diego $90,250
  • Sen. Ed Hernandez* D-Azusa $67,750
  • Sen. Holly Mitchell* D-Los Angeles $60,107
  • Assemblyman Brian Maienschein* R-San Diego $59,879
  • Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León D-Los Angeles $56,648
  • Sen. Isadore Hall D-Compton $52,400
  • Sen. Jerry Hill D-San Mateo $50,209
  • Assemblyman Henry Perea D-Fresno $49,550
  • Assemblywoman Shirley Weber D-San Diego $47,000
  • Assemblyman Mike Gatto D-Los Angeles $46,491
  • Assemblywoman Susan A. Bonilla* D-Concord $45,600
  • Sen. Andy Vidak R-Hanford $42,800
  • Assemblyman Tom Daly D-Anaheim $40,300
  • Assemblyman Kevin Mullin D-South San Francisco $38,400
  • Assemblyman Adam Gray D-Merced $37,000
  • Assemblyman Rob Bonta* D-Alameda $36,750
  • Assemblyman Anthony Rendon D-Lakewood $36,200
  • Assemblyman Jimmy Gomez* D-Los Angeles $33,850
  • Assemblyman Richard Gordon D-Menlo Park $33,100

It’s no mystery that in politics, as in life, money often buys influence. In essence, this is how the pharmaceutical industry bought mandatory vaccination for all school children in California — or as our lead article today refers to the state — in CaliPharma.

The REAL Truth About Cholesterol and Avoiding Heart Disease.

I am sharing this very informative newsletter I received via email, by Dr. Keith Scott-Mumby, the Alternative Doctor. Yes, he is promoting one of his products, but the information is very valuable. I did order and try this product. I have taken it only for a week now, so I will keep you all updated on my experience with it.

Enjoy ~ Rev. Tiffany White Sage Woman

There is one scientifically-proven FACT about cholesterol that is beyond question: we NEED it and we need LOTS of it. All else is rumor and false science. It’s marketing twaddle, in fact, not science at all.

When I was at med school, a “normal” cholesterol was about 265 mg. You’d think that was terrible today, due to constant brain-washing and propagandizing. But that’s just an altered emphasis, not altered human physiology.

Over the years, lower became “better” and there were people (Mike Adams comes to mind) boasting they had got their cholesterol down to 165mg or so. You cannot be healthy with a cholesterol so low. You’d be unable to make healthy testosterone and estrogen, with all the complications that implies.

Now all this is beyond scientific question: a major study in a major (prestige) journal has shown that cholesterol levels are not related AT ALL to cardiovascular risks. Meaning cholesterol levels were NEVER related to cardiovascular risk.[1]

And that means the entire multi-billion dollar edifice of statins from ‘Big Pharma’ is a pack of lies and was always a pack of lies.

I’ve been howling for decades that statin drugs have no proven benefit for any woman, ever, and also have no proven benefit for any man who has not had a heart attack. Add to that: the “evidence” of benefit for a man who has had a heart attack is scanty to nothing and the scale of the con game that Big Pharma has being working can be seen and it is staggering.

Not only do statins have no proven benefit, STATINS ARE PROVED TO BE HEART-TOXIC. These drugs tear up your CoQ10, one of the most vital substances your heart needs, to go on pumping, day in day out, month in, month out, year after year after year.[2]

Statins slowly kill the patient but the finger of suspicion never point to pharmaceuticals. “The patient died of a heart attack,” they make sure it’s written up that way. It’s a perfect blind…

And it’s sickening.

The New Study

In a sentence, so-called “bad cholesterol” does not accurately predict future cardiovascular events and is not a good indicator of the underlying causes of heart disease. In other words, statins are irrelevant to health.

Yet statins have been a billion industry for decades: in 2017 it was estimated to be around $20 billion.[3]

The media and scientific literature go on and on extolling the virtues of this class of drugs, over major diet and lifestyle changes. “Safe and effective” is the phrase I read over and over. This huge lie has been repeated so often that I think a lot of doctors actually believe it.

That’s the power of a slogan. Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi propaganda minister understood it well. “Make the lie big, keep it simple, keep saying it and eventually they will believe it,” he is reputed to have said.

Well, as I said, statins are proven worthless, not effective. There are around 300 side effects been reported, many of which are life-threatening. STATINS ARE NOT SAFE AT ALL.

“Safe and effective” is a Goebbels-sized lie.

A New Idea

There’s a magical (shouldn’t really use that term) nutraceutical from a member of the citrus family, called Bergamot. It grows in lots of places but the best of the best comes from the Calabria region of southern Italy.

Bergamot.jpg
https://drkeithsown.com/bergamot/

In fact the BEST of the best of the best is actually that which is certified by the Instituto del Bergamotta—and I know just where to get it!

Bergamot has the science, whereas statins do not! It can do anything that statins can do, and better, but WITHOUT complications and side-effects. It’s just a kind of lemon for heaven’s sake!

It will not screw up your coenzymeQ10 levels or harm your heart in any way. Your circulation is benefitted in ways the FDA will not allow me to describe.

One patient reported enhanced sexual performance, he said, “I now piss like a horse.” Very graphic, but you get the point of gains in the “down below” department (gotta say that for the prudish Americans). The rest of us would say…

What? OK, got to go!

But there are other benefits…

Liver Health

Liver damage is one of the most common and most dangerous health conditions out there. It goes hand in hand with overweight and obesity. Forget cirrhosis due to alcohol—that’s about 6% of the deaths.

More than 50% of liver damage leading to cirrhosis comes in the form of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The name says it: the liver gets infiltrated with fat, swells, can’t function and pretty soon, you will die.

It’s now so prevalent, I am shocked. In Taiwan (now a “Western” society), 60% of the population over 40 years of age has NAFLD!

In the USA, it’s really bad too: one third of the adult population have NAFLD; but that rises to 65% in persons who are obese. The incidence increases as we age, so it’s a big factor to us Boomers. But plenty of kids have it too, which is a horrible trend. [figures from US National Institutes Of Health]

NAFLD has been observed in all ethnic groups with the highest prevalence seen in Hispanics compared with Caucasians and African Americans.

Bergamot supports healthy liver enzymes to protect against liver problems; that’s right, but not just protects against it, it actually helps support a healthy liver. In simple terms, that equates to growing younger.

The best preparation I know is one used by Australian cardiologist called Dr. Ross Walker MB, BS (Hons, FRACP, FCSANZ). And it just so happens the guys who supply HIM, supply me!

I have unique access to a grade of bergamot that would make Julian Whittaker and Stephen Sinatra jealous! It’s 47% pure—the highest so far achievable.

I also threw in some alpha lipoic acid, which is great for the liver. And chromium for improved glucose metabolism…Helps obesity indirectly. Can’t be too careful, eh?

I call my product Dr. Keith’s Own Bergamot, for distinction, and this top-of-the-range formulation (same as Ross Walker’s) is “Physicians Strength Bergamot.”

You can read more about this amazing and unique nutraceutical here, and decide for yourself if you need to take it.

There’s a free download bonus you’ll probably enjoy too!

New CTFO Product: Keto-Friendly Extreme Shake ~ Available Now

Keto Friendly Extreme Shake

CTFO has another new product that I am excited about and look forward to adding it to my daily health and wellness routine.

Extreme Shake™ is a creamy and delicious, natural vanilla flavored, advanced low-carb, keto-friendly, prebiotic and probiotic protein shake with the added benefits of patented SENSORIL® Ashwagandha. Each shake contains 15 grams of protein with only 3 net grams of carbs.

I have been consuming protein shakes for over 11 years now. I have tried different brands and researched the different types of protein shakes. Let’s address some of the questions that you may have in regards to protein shakes.
I know it may sound like a silly question at first, but it seems that this is a very important question we must ask about anything new we add to our daily diet.
Protein powders are powdered forms of protein that come from plants (soybeans, peas, rice, potatoes, or hemp), eggs, or milk (casein or whey protein).
Whey protein is considered a complete protein as it contains all 9 essential amino acids. It is low in lactose content. Possible side effects include nausea and headaches, but at moderate doses, whey protein is not considered dangerous.
Don’t use whey protein if you have a major or severe dairy allergy. It may cause digestive distress. People with dairy allergies or trouble digesting lactose [milk sugar] can experience gastrointestinal discomfort if they use a milk-based protein powder.
Like whey, casein protein powder makes up 80 percent of the protein in cow’s milk and is also a byproduct of the cheese-making process, so it is not an option for vegans. But if you’re a lacto-vegetarian, you can add it to the roster.
Best Protein Supplements for Vegetarians & Vegans: Whey and casein are both complete proteins, meaning that they contain all of the essential amino acids. If you prefer plant-based protein or are veganprotein powders made from soy, rice, pea and hemp, or a mix of these sources, can be good choices.
The first protein shake I was on was whey protein. I consumed a shake twice a day for about a year and a half. I had one for breakfast and one for lunch. I noticed that I did start to bloat and have some gastrointestinal discomfort. My father’s family has a history of dairy allergies. My sons and I have this dairy sensitivity as well.  I don’t drink milk or dairy products and can not consume a lot of it or it will upset me. I do love cheese and ice cream. No, not together. hahaha. Looking back, I probably took too much of the whey protein and probably should have knocked it down to one shake a day. However, my experience did lead me to the right choices for my health. Moderation is the key and I know my limit when it comes to consuming dairy products.
After much research, I switched from whey protein to a vegan, pea protein shake. This is what I have been on for over 10 years now. My plan is to continue taking the pea protein shake in the morning and now add the Extreme Shake in the afternoon.

I am impressed and super excited about the ingredients in CTFO’s new Extreme Shake.

Prebiotics and probiotics: Probiotics alone can not survive in our gut. People who have tried probiotics may have found that they didn’t have any success or notice a difference. Prebiotics feed the probiotics. Without prebiotics, probiotics can only survive for about 2 weeks, then die off. So if probiotics have food, the prebiotics, and can survive and thrive in the gut longer … that is a win win for our immune system.
Sensoril® is a patented Ashwagandha supported by 11 clinical studies designed to enhance adaptogenic health benefits and is eight times the strength of standard Ashwagandha. This special extract is derived from specially-grown Ashwagandha leaves and roots through a patented, water-based process to arrive at the perfect compound. Feelings of reduced stress, more restful sleep along with energy and mental acuity are common.
I will write my review and testimonial on the the Extreme Shake after I receive it and take it for about 2 weeks. So stay tuned! (If you haven’t done so already, please Subscribe to this Blog for updates.)
Make Extreme Shake™ your go-to healthy weight management routine when you absolutely have to be at your optimal health and wellness.

What Role Does Mucus Play in Digestion?

Woman holding model of human intestines in front of body on white background

For those that suffer from allergies or sinus infections, you may get the impression that mucus is a bad thing. There is even OTC medicines to help remove the excess of mucus. However, what if I told you that mucus is very important and vital to our body and health?

Mucus plays a hugely important role in digestion, in addition to helping establish the overall health of other areas of your body.

In this article we’ll focus just on how mucus helps in mechanical digestion, and why you need to make sure that your body has a suitable amount.

Why does it help?

The first question to answer regarding mucus and its role in digestion is why mucus is a helpful substance. Mucus, though it doesn’t look like it, helps destroy bacteria and viruses, in addition to trapping particles, preventing water loss, lubricating the movement of materials through your body, and protects all the surfaces it touches from damage.

You have mucus in your mouth, in the form of saliva, and even in your eyes. The viscosity of the mucus depends on where it’s located in your body. In your nose, for examples, it’s thicker in order to fight against the potential viruses, dirt, and other irritants which can easily enter the nose. With your digestive tract, however, mucus is a bit different.

How does mucus help digestion?

Your stomach is lined by a protective layer of mucus, which is responsible for creating the enzymes that help your body digest proteins. Additionally, the mucus lining your stomach helps prevent your stomach lining from the negative effects of excessive exposure to acid or pepsin.

Now, as for your digestive tract specifically – mucus helps there as well. Since mucus works to lubricate items in your body for easy movement from one area of the body to another, it’s important to have enough in your intestinal tract.

The intestines can easily be perforated or otherwise harmed by sharp objects you’ve eaten that haven’t been completely ground down yet (potato chips, crackers, etc.). Mucus coats these objects so they flow through your intestines at a much more productive rate, ensuring that your body is able to process the food you eat as efficiently as possible.

Mucus from beginning to end:

Now that you can see how mucus is important in many different aspects of your health, let’s look at the process it plays from beginning to end in your digestive system.

First, the saliva in your mouth (a form of mucus) breaks down your food, fights bacteria in your mouth, and removes plaque from your teeth. Then the mucus lining your throat lubricates the food as it enters your stomach.

There, the protective mucus membrane on the lining of your stomach protects it from acid exposure. Once it’s done in your stomach, the food moves to your intestines where it’s once again coated in mucus to move freely through your entire digestive tract.

It may not be outwardly apparent, but without mucus it’s easy to see that our bodies wouldn’t function as well as they could.

7 Common Signs of Nutrient Deficiency

Food alone may not provide sufficient micronutrients for preventing deficiency.

This study from the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition analyzed 70 athlete’s diets. Every single diet was deficient in at least three nutrients. Some diets were missing up to fifteen nutrients! Another study they performed showed that people following one of four popular diet plans (including Atkins, South Beach, and the DASH diet) were also very likely to be micronutrient deficient, particularly in six key micronutrients:

  • Vitamin B7
  • Vitamin D
  • Vitamin E
  • Chromium
  • Iodine
  • Molybdenum

Similarly, the United States Department of Agriculture says the majority of Americans are deficient in many of the same nutrients and are not meeting the required daily amount of things like vitamin E, folate, calcium and magnesium.

rda

So how do you know if you’re deficient? First of all, if you’re not eating A LOT of fruits and vegetables, especially greens, then you are probably deficient in a lot of these areas. There are also many different symptoms that could tell you you are deficient in some critical nutrient. Here are 7 of them:

1. Poor Night Vision

Vitamin A, known as retinol, is essential for promoting good vision and overall eye health. It also helps to maintain healthy skin and soft tissues throughout the body.

2. Cracks at the Corners of the Mouth

This is more likely to occur for those following vegan and vegetarian diets because it’s harder to get sufficient zinc, iron and B12.

3. Sores or Discoloration of the Mouth and Tongue

Water-soluble B-vitamins are essential for the health of the mouth and tongue. Unfortunately, the body doesn’t store them, so we have to constantly replenish them.

4. Weak, Spotted or Ridged Nails

These are common signs of a deficiency in zinc, an important trace mineral needed for the proper function of the immune system. Zinc also serves an important role in cell division and growth.

5. Poor Blood Clotting

Essential for normal blood clotting, vitamin K also plays a vital role in bone mineralization and cell growth. Lack of vitamin K can result in bruising, frequent nosebleeds and brittle bones.

6. Weak Muscles and Bones

In advanced cases it’s called rickets (for children) or osteomalacia (for adults), but it boils down to a deficiency in vitamin D, an essential nutrient for growth, health and maintenance of the structural system.

7. Frequent Cramps in the lower legs or ‘Restless Leg’

Magnesium, calcium and potassium support proper muscle development and growth. Lack of these important nutrients can cause persistent discomfort in the feet, calves and back of the leg.

25 Ways to Increase Fiber Daily

Fiber is one of those often-overlooked necessities.

You know you need it, and you like it when you have it, but it doesn’t top the list the way Protein or Omega-3 does.

Fiber is pretty important to supporting cardiovascular and digestive health, so why the fiber hate? Because when most of us think fiber, we think fibrous, and cardboard-esque. Not very appetizing. Luckily there are a lot of ways to add fiber to your diet without compromising on taste, texture, or appeal. Here are 25 ways you can increase your daily fiber intake.

  1. Use whole fruit: It is tempting to use fruit juice in your morning smoothie or protein drink, but if you drop a whole apple or orange in your high powered blender, rather than the juice, you are going to get as much as 3 grams more fiber.
  2. Sprinkle on the flax seed or chia: You can stir a few spoonfuls into cereal, granola, yogurt, etc, to add extra fiber to what you are already eating.
  3. Sub nectar for juice: It has more pulp and more fiber, giving you a fiber boost with each glass.
  4. Eat nut butters: Almond butter, cashew butter, and other nut butters can be spread on toast, pancakes, and more for an additional few grams of fiber, a tasty treat, and a great dose of healthy fats. Just look for the lower sugar options to keep it healthy.
  5. Drink cocoa instead of coffee. While the caffeine boost of coffee is great, cocoa has a lot more fiber, as much as 3 g per cup!

Need more fiber? Try Nature’s Sunshine: Everybody’s Fiber or Psyllium Hulls Combination

Also:

  1. Eat more beans. Throw a few spoonfuls into your favorite soup, lentils and beans have a good amount of fiber.
  2. Add spice to your dish. A teaspoon of oregano or basil can add a gram of fiber.
  3. Use sesame seed buns instead of plain.
  4. Choose whole wheat over white flour. This can add more fiber per serving for whatever you are eating.
  5. Add the greens. Cabbage, kale, spinach, etc. all have fiber, so stack your sandwich high, put some on your burger or dog, and eat it on the side.
  6. Snack on popcorn. Popcorn has a lot more fiber than a bag of potato chips, so next time you need a salty snack, choose popcorn!
  7. Eat nuts and dried fruits. When you have the choice, pick up a handful of trail mix for a snack rather than a bar or square, the mix will have about twice as much fiber!
  8. Choose sweet potato instead of white. They have 2 grams more fiber.
  9. Add a side of cooked veggies. Broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots are all great for adding fiber, and cooking them makes the fiber more readily available to your body!
  10. Choose berries. Add fresh sliced berries instead of syrups, and when you have the option pick raspberries over strawberries or blueberries as they boast nearly twice the amount of fiber.
  11. Eat pears. If looking for a quick snack, try a pear, preferably an Asian pear, as they have as much as 5 grams of fiber, and can be eaten raw, with a nut butter, or prepared a number of ways. Just be sure to eat the skin.
  12. Try oatmeal and oat bran. Swap out your regular breakfast for a steamy cup of oatmeal for a great fiber increase. Top with berries or bananas for even more fiber.
  13. Artichokes are low calorie and have a ton of fiber. Make a soup, dip in a low calorie dip, or make into a dip, and enjoy!
  14. Add green peas. Keeping a bag of frozen green peas on hand is a great way to add fiber to your diet without fuss. Stir them into macaroni and cheese, throw some atop a salad, or add them as a side dish to any meal for about 9 grams of fiber per cup.
  15. Lentils and Bulgar: Experiment with lentils and whole grains you may not be familiar with. Try them in your regular recipes for added fiber and flavor.
  16. Squash. There are so many varieties of squash, from spaghetti, which makes a great substitute for grain noodles, to butternut, which makes excellent soup. Squash is packed with fiber, so add more squash to your diet.
  17. Vegetables: Add vegetables to everything you can, from an extra helping in your morning omelets, to veggies in your spaghetti sauce. They are a great source of insoluble fiber.
  18. Go ethnic: American foods often have lower fiber than ethnic cuisines, so try something from Mexico, the Middle East, or the Mediterranean, which usually have beans, lentils, and other good sources of fiber.
  19. Up your dips: Dipping is fun, but try hummus, bean dips, and artichoke dips which are both full of fiber as opposed to a dressing.
  20. Add a little when baking. Give your cookies, cakes, breads, and muffins more fiber by subbing in some whole-wheat flour and oats.
