A certified yoga therapist with 25 years of teaching experience and a faculty member at MSU Billings, Lisa spent years studying the intersection of the body, breath, and healing the mind. But it was her own personal journey — and a deep dive into heart-centered practices — that led her to the work she does today: Illuminating Heart Readings.

Using intuitive drawings, Lisa maps the energy networks around your heart, offering a gentle, visual window into where your heart is ready to open and where it may still be hurt and holding on. Her readings are less about prediction and more about recognition — helping you see yourself more clearly and move toward a deeper relationship with your own capacity for love and healing.

She is also facilitating a special workshop Saturday, March 28th: Open the Vault of the Heart and (Re)Learn to Trust.

Special Guest: William (Will) Brown

William (Will) Brown, is a Psychic, Medium, Channel, and Reiki Master. Serving as a guinea pig during his wife’s Reiki training in 2014 reawakened the Spirit connection he had sensed throughout his childhood but had been too busy to contemplate during his 26 years with the Coast Guard. Will has since realized his passion and purpose as a healer, teacher, and messenger.

Holding a BA in Workforce Education and Development and a MS in Project Management, Will has worked in the start-up world since retiring from the Coast Guard in 2014. But in early 2018, a chance encounter with a QHHT practitioner put him in touch with his spiritual team, a group of loving Beings that call themselves The Collective. Since that time, Will has been bringing their messages of love to folks all over the world.

In 2016 Will and his wife, Allison, both veterans, founded Reiki for Vets (RFV), a non-profit organization that provides free Reiki clinics under the auspices of the VA. In their three years of operation, they have grown to serve veterans at eight VA clinics in three states. In addition, RFV provides scholarships to veterans and their spouses to obtain their Reiki Level 1 certification. RFV was featured in the November, 2017 and December 2018 issues of Natural Awakenings magazine, as well as the March, 2018 edition of the BootsOff Podcast. Most recently, Allison and Will were featured on Sister Dr. Jenna’s America Meditating Radio program, a syndicated show with over one million archived listeners in 90 countries!

Will and Allison reside in Moncks Corner with their two children and a menagerie of pets, including three cats, a rooster, and a couple of fainting goats that provide a never-ending source of amusement!

Special Guest: Melissa Smith

Melissa Smith is a Billings, Montana-based artist, web developer, and small business owner whose life has been shaped by a deep belief in community, resilience, and the power of asking the right questions.

Raised in Iowa by parents who championed hard work and the limitless potential of their children, Melissa’s early years were defined by change. When economic shifts forced the family from a stable Midwestern life to California, they learned firsthand what it means to adapt — moving frequently through the 1980s while the family chased opportunity. That experience gave a grounded, practical perspective that has informed everything they’ve done since.

It was during those years that she met Michael — her high school sweetheart and the person who would become the foundation of the life they built. They maintained their relationship across the distance of college, and when the time came to put down roots, Melissa followed him to his home state of Montana. It turned out to be exactly where they were meant to be.

There, they built a career at the intersection of technology, creativity, and communication. From leading Internet Montana in the early 2000s to running their own web development and consulting business, they have spent years helping organizations and individuals tell their stories and solve complex problems. They’re also a visual artist, a longtime nonprofit volunteer, a community organizer on local issues, and currently a candidate for the Montana House of Representatives.

At the center of all of it is the family they and Michael created together — including two adult children — and the values they hope their life has modeled for all of them: show up, take care of each other, and always trust that people working together can make things better.

Special Guest: Elif Ahmad

Elif Ahmad studied classical piano starting at an early age at the New School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts, along with one year of duet at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Including in her ten years of music education, Elif also included 3 years of singing. Then, at the age of 17, after performing at the honor’s recital at the New School of Music, Elif’s life took a drastic turn resulting in her inability to continue playing piano. It was only during the covid pandemic that Elif made the decision to return to playing piano after continuous “pulls” from her soul.

Currently, Elif studies under the care of the Music Director of the First Congregational Church of Madison, in Connecticut. Elif is also a Reiki Master Teacher and has incorporated Sound Healing into her Reiki Sessions, using tuning forks, and Tibetan Bowls to help people with their own healing.
