How may I Hemp you? The Benefits of CBD Hemp Oil.

I have recently added CBD Hemp Oil to my daily health maintenance program. I feel the amazing results and I continue to research the benefits of taking CBD Hemp Oil. The more I research, the more I’m blown away by the power of plants and what they do once they get in our bodies!

Phosphatidylcholine (PC) has been getting some attention! This is why I’m so glad our brilliant chemist, Dr. Christopher Shade (pictured above), has included it in our liposomal Hemp oil!

PC is a phospholipid found in the fat-containing part of our foods (egg yolks–an important source of phosphatidylcholine– milk, meats, poultry, fish, legumes, seeds and nuts and some whole grains, like rice.)

One of the highest quality (and most expensive) sources of PC is sunflower oil (which is used in our liposomal CBD/Hemp oil)

Phospholipids are essential nutrients because although humans can synthesize some, we cannot meet all our needs this way and additional amounts are required from what we eat, including supplements that we take to ‘supercharge’ our bodies to health! I want to help my body to maintain health on a daily basis.

Still with me? Keep reading … this is awesome: Phospholipids are a KEY component of cellular structure, maintaining structural integrity while ensuring cell walls remain fluid so they can effectively regulate nutrients coming in and waste going out…THIS IS THE ‘BRAIN’ OF THE CELL!!! Determines what goes in and what goes out!

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???

BRAIN FUNCTION: Dietary PC is our main source of choline, another essential nutrient we need every day. Among other things, choline is the precursor molecule for the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, one of the most abundant neurotransmitters in the human body and involved in many brain functions, including cognition, memory and muscle control. Phospholipids are able to revitalize memory, learning, concentration and even vocabulary skills … all those functions which can decrease with age. WOW!

CARDIAC  HEALTH: Supplemental phospholipids and their effects on cardiac health have been extensively studied, showing highly beneficial effects on blood lipid profiles. (HDL’s vs. LDL’s)

GASTRONTESTINAL ISSUES: Phosphatidylcholine (PC) is a major lipid in the protective mucus layer of the gastrointestinal tract and has been shown to exert an anti-inflammatory effect. Studies have shown that PC has an intrinsic anti-inflammatory property with beneficial effects for ulcerative colitis as well as providing protection against drugs like NSAIDS, which are harmful to the entire GI tract. We are not what we eat.. but what we ABSORB!

LIVER PROTECTION: Research indicates one of PC’s most beneficial roles is in the prevention and treatment of various forms of liver disease and toxicity, protecting liver cells from viral damage, reducing fibrosis and preventing cell death from drugs, alcohol and other chemical toxins!

STILL UNSURE? Well, check this out… our bodies are ready to receive CBD Hemp Oil. We have CB Receptors in our bodies!

ADMINISTERING CBD AND DETERMINING DOSAGE FOR YOUR PETS:

CBD is available in many convenient forms. Hemp oil can be given from a dropper bottle directly into the mouth, added to food, dropped on a treat, rubbed into bare skin or inside the ears, or dropped on an animal’s paw so they will lick it off. You can also find edible treats now with CBD, but the fastest and most effective delivery is through the bloodstream instead of the digestive track.

Dosage can vary quite a bit from one situation to the next. It may be necessary to experiment a little to find the right amount, and how often to give.

Typical suggested starting dose: 1 mg – 5 mg per 10 lbs. of bodyweight

Cats
1 – 5mg

Dogs

10 lbs  20 lbs  30 lbs  40 lbs  50 lbs 60 lbs 70 lbs  80 lbs
 1 – 5mg  2 – 10mg  3 – 15mg  4 – 20mg  5 – 25mg  6 – 30mg  7 – 35mg  8 – 40mg

Start with a dose on the low end of the range. Changes usually occur within 30 minutes. If there is no change after an hour, increase the dosage. Occasionally improvements will take more than one treatment. To control pain, give approximately every 8 hours. For other uses, or to break unwanted behavior patterns, give once or twice a day. Remember that you cannot overdose and there is no toxicity associated with CBD.
